I wonder how long you have played clarinet. (no need to answer that). YOu do want to learn clarinet well, and then yes learn saxophone. Many woodwind players learn other instruments. In the musical and show pits you need to play several instruments so yes, expand your abilities; learn them all well.

I play the alto saxophone. Just started actually. People suggested that I played the clarniet first because it helps you control the instrument better. I reccomend you play it. It's really wonderful. Start out on the alto then work your way up because the others require a lot more air.

You should definitely start if you want to - the sax is awesome and its not that hard to start learning when you already play another woodwind instrument xx

Look, the only difference is how much u gotta push on the keys, the keys are bigger on a saxophone which, I think, makes it easier to play. Sometimes the neckstrap hurts though you get used to it, sometimes I even play without it...

I think there's a lot of value to playing more than one instrument. I say definitely give it a try! With sax, you can also really have fun in jazz ensembles.
