my alto sax tunes at Key C# instead of Key D when the keyboard piano is playing at key F
Please what could be the cause and what can i do to rectify this.

How are you fingering your D?

maybe there is something wrong with your saxo and it needs to be repaired.

I used a digital tuner to test various reeds and some reeds produced the right key while some produced a slightly lower key. So it could just be the reed you were using at the time.
