When I play the note G it read as Bb on my digital tuner? its an alto saxophone.

That's correct. The alto (like the baritone)is in E flat which means the written C sounds Eb. Soprano & tenor are in B flat - so written C sounds B flat.

Thank you. When I play G it is Bb however when I play c it reads as E not Eb. I checked all pads no leaks. It is a cheap saxophone so that could be the issue. Or is it possible its my emboucher? I am going to get a teacher next month just couldnt afford on this month.

For bottom C it is - LH 1 2 3 RH 1 2 3 + pinkie on the lower of the 2 keys. For the higher octave LH 2 only.

Ah that was my problem everything fine. Im having an issue when I play it has a clarinet sound. I think im blowing a littl e to hard.
