hey im in a 9th grade band and we are playin all songs that i played in the 7th grade somenody please email me harder music 4 an aloto sax bari sax or soprano sax preferably jazz because im getin bored of easy music

Hey im in the 7th grade and pretty good.Im the best player in my biggining class but iwnt to go to the advance.To do that i need to play better songs.

Please email me if you have any good songs. Ive been looking at websites but theres only samples PLEASE MAIL ME SOME SONGS.

i am so glad to see so many saxophone players! i am 25 years old and have been playing the sax since i was 9yrs. Keep on with your practices. and for those who are playing the easy music, just hang in there soon as you high school it will get harder. and i pray that you all will consider marching band(it`s sooo much fun) anyhoo, i would suggest(if your bored) that you go to your local music store(instrumental)and browse some books to play.
my favorite thing to do is to just turn on a CD or the radio and play to your favorite songs! i did that all through high school, every saturday sending at least 8 hours (no lie) playing to my CDs and the radio. also one more important thing: learn to READ your music, no matter how hard or boring it may be. i never really knew how to read music until i was in college and took private lessons(i was a learn-by-ear type. So continue with it my future band members. i am a self proclaimed band geek!! i love music and i still play my sax at church. band was my favorite class in school. God Bless you all!
