i play alto and i went to www.musicnotes.com and found some good music. it only gives u the 1st page of the song tho so u have to figure out the remaining part based on what u already know. there`s not a whole lot of good alto sax music tho but if ur good at transposing u can figure out other music

Ok, well, there is some dispute on the blues scales. someone said it is...1, b3, 4, #4, 5, b7, 1...but, in all reality, I know most of your directors have told you about enharmonics (notes that sound the same, but written dieeferently, like red and read), and in most cases this wouldn`t work...but it does. It could also go 1, b3, 4, b5, 5, b7, 1. But of course that sounds the some as the first one, but it is notated differently. You could combine both of them together by writing it as 1, b3, 4, #4(b5), 5, b7, 1. But it really doesn`t matter. I`m just trying to confuse you ppl. hehe but anyway I play all the common saxes, soprano at home, alto whenever I feel, tenor for Jazz and Wind Ensemble, and Bari for our school`s sax quartet (qhich is very cool) and so I am in 10th grade. w00t, so I can make fun of incoming freshman bc of their age. Well, now that I`ve given my schpiel, I`m done.
