When i was in 5th grade, i started on recorder b4 moving to sax the next year. Our director in 5th grade started teching us music reading basics, the music was originally written for Eb instruments. So wehn i started sax, i played the same note (G) on each instrument and it didnt sound the same. Then i learned recorder was a concert pitch instrument. And she contradicted me and told me they were both Eb instruments. That sounds dumb coming from a "Music Teacher" doesnt it?
