Is the fingering for the notes on all three instruments the same? Or is it like the clarinet where what is a G on a descant recorder is a C on the clarinet?
I can play the descant but would like to get hold of music for the treble and the bass. Any ideas?
Finally, i would like to play duets. Are there any CDs available with parts played on them that i can play along to?

Lots of questions here - any answers? THANKS

The Soprano recorder and the Tenor recorder are in the key of C, and the Alto and Bass are in the Key of F. So the C on the Soprano or tenor recorders would be an F on an Alto or a bass.

Hope this Helps!

I know on the descant the thumb and top finger give you a B. On the treble/alto you get an E. Not sure of the bass. I find it a bit tricky to go from one to the other, so I remember the above, and work from there.
