Hello there
All of the recorders I see in pics and stuff have double holes for the semitones down in C/C# and D/D#... I have 3 recorders, 2 very cheap ones one of which has double holes (the other has single ones) and a more expensive one (around 50-60 euros) that has single ones. How can one properly have correct semitone sound with such holes? I try it with same breath strengh and it will either sound bad or a whole octave up. On the higher octave the semitones there sound ok. Any ideas? Is it the recorder? Or is it me? Or both?
