Hi!
Recently I bought a recorder. It is Yamaha baroque style tenor/soprano, plastic one.. There are shown two types of fingerings - baroque and German. When I play F in baroque fingering style, it sounds in tune with the other notes, but when I play it in German style, which has easier fingering, it sounds about 1/4 tone out of tune... Is this normal or just my recorder is out of tune? I bought it new, but for a very low price so it could be possible that it is out of tune, allthough it is Yamaha?
Thanks in advance!

I recorder is the same like yours.

You must look at the fourth hole of the recorder. If the fourth hole of the recorder is smaller than the fifth hole, use the German system.
If the fouth hole is bigger then the fifth hole use the baroque system.
