I noticed the same thing. I`ve been playing saxophone for eight years, and just joined our Early Music Ensemble on alto recorder. I struggled with the half-hole fingerings and the forked fingerings.
Which recorder do you play? The soprano and tenor recorder fingerings are closest to saxophone, while the alto and bass fingerings are closer to clarinet.

Yes, the fingerings for the naturals are the same, but since the sax has more than twice as many key holes as a recorder, you have many more fingering options. There are about 9 different possible (but not all practical) fingerings for Bb on a sax, 6 of which I have actually used while playing pieces. There are many other alternate fingerings for the sax, and ways to produce quarter-tones that I have been experimenting with.

On Descant & tenor recorder the fingerings are the same as the sax. But only for the natruals, the sharps\ flats are all different. If u switched from recorder to sax good luck with the new mouth thing
