Love your voice! :-) Wish I had the guts to show my face singing. I'm guessing I look like a !****! while I'm singing.

Dear whistlemix,
I do not wish to sound too negative and discouraging. But I listened to the last song you posted and feel like giving you a strong advise: try to avoid using improvised vibrato while singing, at least until you learn to manage it.
You sing in tune, I mean, initially at each note. But then you add (I suppose, inadvertently) a strong and not-harmonically related vibrato, that makes the whole thing sound awfully out of tune. (sorry about the adjective, but I prefer to be candid in my assessment). You keep asking and I am just trying to help.
You have a nice voice, however and if you have sung in choir for 4 years no doubt you have no problems with correct intonation. But in choirs you cannot use vibrato and probably this problem did not show until you started singing as soloist.
Practise a lot, forcing yourself to sustain very long notes exactly in tune and do not yield to the temptation to make any adornments. They will come later, when you learn the right way.
Then swith to slow songs (the one in your post is OK), but sing the notes exactly as they are written in the score or as they sound in a piano. Do not add anything to them and you will start to sound superb.
You may say, "this is not how good pros sound". OK, but you must learn to sing 100% in tune before changing the notes to something that still sounds good to our ears.It is not the case right now, I'm afraid.
Good luck.
