Hi,

I often feel an inspiration to sing but have never done it in public. If my voice is not great I would rather not pursue it but if it is good then I will. I'd like some first impressions of a very basic short recording I did. I did this one at night so I could not sing too loudly. Anyway, any impressions or negative/positive comments welcomed, even a 'good' or 'not good' response will do, I'd just like some idea.

is that realy the best u can do? i think anyone can sing if they put there heart in to it, i think that you could be good but you need to be more confident and not so flat

Hi there! Love to hear your love for singing. I think you did good, but I felt no emotion. Try not to focus so much on singing the words or getting the words right...close your eyes and sing the song as if you wrote the song. =]

I have a complusion for writing/singing songs, and I am good at writing I just wish they didn't all end up in my bin, I can write hundreds of songs and it would be great if I knew a band with a singer I could share them with or something. So I don't mind if people tell me my singing sucks, I just want the writing to be put to some use. So any advice you've got I would really value.

sometimes i feel like u felt cuz i just don't know how to make my voice right. i didn't have a chance to play the recordings that u did, but with the comments that i saw, i know that u can sing good. like somebody said, all you have to do is close ur eyes and feel like u wrote the song. it doesn't matter if u forget a little bit of lyrics. just try the best that u can to feel great. cuz in singing it doesn't matter about the lyrics. it matters about ur passion for singing.
