Ok, just recently i've been making singing a serious thing. I don't have the natural talent so I need help. I strain a lot of notes when trying to get high (and i'm not that good at singing high). I need to know any good technique that can help with that and another technique to help on tone building. Any help on this?

Ok if your serious about singing you need to get lessons from a pro. You could do some serious damage if you keep straining your voice. Please note: If you can't reach a note than you can't reach a note, it's upsetting but you need to let go. You might be having problem because of where you are breathing from. You should be breathing low and deep in your diaphragm (Below your ribs). NO BREATHING THROUGH YOUR CHEST!!!!!!!!
Hope this helps

Look up Brett Manning Singing Success on the web. My wife started taking his lessons (CD's) and she has improved a lot and has gone up 3 higher notes and improved tone...on CD No.3...

A lot of what Brett does is nonsense and not correct. Go to someone who is looking out for the good of your vocal health AND quality.

You have to try it to find out...we did and it works...It's a slow steady progress, no straining but gradual progress, and as I said - it works.
