Anyone know how would you conduct 3/1 time? would it be like conduting in 6/4 but slower?

Just wondering cuz I asked my Highschool Concert Honors Band and Honors Orchestra Directors and they where not entirely sure about it!

Its not a 6/4 its a 6/2 i think. And that definitely isn't a common time.

It's probably like 3/4 time except rather than each movement representing a crotchet, it represents a senmibreve

3/1 is a simple triple time, similar to 3/4 or 3/2, meaning that it would contain three beats per measure: 1 te 2 te 3 te and so on.

Although I don't think it would be very practical, 3/1 could also be interpreted as compound single, similar to 3/8, meaning it would have one beat per measure with three subdivisions: 1 la li and so on.
