If anyone wants a challenge, there exists a song called either "Fates of Men" or "Lily Fair" (i'm not sure which cos ive lost the bit of paper with the name on it) but i would like someone to write out the vocal line (4-4 time, D major), which I have tried and failed to do, and anything else you feel like doing.
When you're done could you send it to me hugo_pimm@hotmail.co.uk (needless to say i'll send you the song first)
Thanks
MW

You title confuses me. Is it that you want someone to write out the lyrics based on a recording? Because if so that isn't called arranging. That is Harmonic, lyrical and rhythmic dictation.

No, what i'd like is for someone to write out the vocal line, and anything else they feel like, for a nonspecific instrument

Ok then. Who wrote it and when? Because based on the date, it could be illegal to arrange it, and not a lot of people will touch it.

Ok, Stuff written in the 60's and 70's is still under copyright. Pieces written earlier than 1921 (? Some one correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is the right year) are the only ones you can arrange legally, unless you contact the publisher to request permission. Though that might cost money.
