I have gotten a horn from a relative and I'ld like to know more about it, age, model, value? It says hans hoyer miestro on the bell. The serial number is 265318M. It is red brass with mechanical connections. The case handle says made in W germany. Any info would be appreciated or a link where I could info at.

I had email addresses for a couple of the guys there but they never reponded to emails in english or german. Hoyer has very much gone the way of Selmer. As they have been purchased by a larger company (B&S and now JA Musik) they do everything they can to push you off to the local dealer. They go out of their way to get you to not deal with them directly. It's really a pain and they suspect you don't think about this. Then when you have a problem you find yourself dealing with other companies hired to resolve the issues and will probably not ever talk to them directly.

I did some asking around my family and someone seems to remember it being bought in the early 1990s. Was this before all of the changing hands of the company? I still have no idea what model this is?
