I have the entire piece of Clocks. Just e-mail me... it`s not set up like sheet music though, but all the notes are there, from beginning to end. I`ve been working on it trying to get all the notes right and they seem to match the whole song!!!
Hmm.. see how long this stays up.. I`m going to paste the whole song here.. Earlier in the thread I read that you can`t find it online... Hehe WRONG!!!! You`re all searching for sheet music... search like you would for guitar "tabs", only for "piano"<<the ("") are hints as to what to type in for a search... In fact, when you type www. put those two ("") words together in the right order and then put .net,,, you have the website. www.("").net.. It`s soo easy... ANYWAY, here ya go!! this is two versions.
just listen to the song to work out how fast it goes...but you will soon
find out it is a pretty fast tempo
The piano riff pretty much goes through the whole song except for a few
parts where it does the same thing
but a little higer...I have just tabbed the main riff here.
The Riff goes as follows NOTE: I have broken it up into LINES so it is
easier to read..
Right Hand:
1st Line: Eb Bb G Eb Bb G Eb Bb G........repeat once more
2nd Line: Db Bb F Db Bb F Db Bb F (play this bit 3 times)
3rd Line: C Ab F C Ab F C Ab C......repeat once more
Left Hand (chords)
1st Line: G-Bb-Eb
2nd Line: F-Bb-Eb
3rd Line: F-Ab-Db
Any suggestions to improve this tab would be greatly appreciated....thankyou
enjoy!
Song: "Clocks"
Band: Coldplay
Album: "Rush of Blood To The Head"
Year: 2002
For this tab, Middle C marks the beginning of Octave 1.
C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A Bb B C Db D Eb E F Gb G Ab A Bb B C
|<======== Octave 1 ========>|<======== Octave 2 ========>|
Each note below has a number after it. This number (either 1
or 2) identifies the octave in which the note is played.
"Clocks" has eight `eighth notes` in each measure.
One measure of music is represented by one line of notes.
Play each note one at a time, right after the other.
Section 1 is played in both the left and right hands at the same
time. Each hand plays exactly the same notes, except the left hand
plays one octave lower than the right hand. The right hand part
has been tabbed out, so once you learn the riff, you can apply it
to the left hand. Note that this applies only to Section 1.
Section 1:
Eb2 Bb1 G1 Eb2 Bb1 G1 Eb2 Bb1
Db2 Ab1 F1 Db2 Ab1 F1 Db2 Ab1
Db2 Ab1 F1 Db2 Ab1 F1 Db2 Ab1
C2 Ab1 F1 C2 Ab1 F1 C2 Ab1
Section 2:
Ab2 G2 Eb2 Ab2 G2 Eb2 Ab2 G2
Ab2 G2 Db2 Ab2 G2 Db2 Ab2 G2
Ab2 G2 Db2 Ab2 G2 Db2 Ab2 G2
Ab2 G2 C2 Ab2 G2 C2 Ab2 G2
Section 3:
Each measure in the bridge contains one `eighth note` played
eight times. For brevity`s sake, it`s been compressed so
all you have to do is "play each note below eight times".
F2 F2 F2 F2
F2 F2 Ab1 C2
F2 F2 Ab1 C2
F2 F2 F2 F2
This song is broken down into ten parts, listed below.
The numbers below refer to the measures of each part.
1-16 Intro Play Section 1 four times
17-32 Verse 1 No piano
33-48 Chorus 1 Play Section 1 four times
49-64 Verse 2 No piano
65-80 Chorus 1 Play Section 1 four times

97-112 Bridge Play Section 3 one time
