Fraid the riff you`ve got for Pyramid Song is wrong: I`ve seen the official sheet music and it`s two dotted crotchets/quarter-notes followed by a minim/half-note followed by two dotted crotchets/quarter-notes again, like this:
|: @. @. O @. @. :|
where @=crotchet/quarter-note and O = minim/half-note.
it`s in common time, lol.

Thanks so much for posting this. I agree, it has to be wrong. I had my friend replay this tune like 20 times so I could figure out a time signature. While I figured it at 5/8-8/8-3/8, it does add up to a total of 16 beats (eigth note takes the beat). They way they have it written, it only adds up to 15 beats. Common time allows for 16 beats per two measures. Hope this wasn`t confursing. Really tried to make this as concise as possible.

ok.. let me correct myself. The time sgnature as I felt it went: 5/4-4/4-4/4-3/4 adding up to 4/4: common time.
sorry about that, hee hee
