hey everyone i'm starting a jazz combo and was wondering if u really needed a drummer. i have a tenor sax, piano, and bass. is that good enough?? if not what r something things i could add? u can email me @ 2band4u@comcast.net thanks

yes, you need a drummer. if you can, get a guitarist too for comping and to share the load of solos.

it really depends on your personal prefrence. if you have a good bass player a drummer may not be needed it may seem a little lacking but thats ur choice. i personaly can think of many more instruments i would add. but it is all the the bands prefrence
