It`s the new "death" rock band that everyone is talking about. My Chemical Romance`s popularity has gone wild. Are they good or bad? comments are welcome.

I would describe MCR more as an emo-punk band. I really like Gerard`s voice, its always on key. They are an acceptional band, and they will do well at the VMA`s.

uumm...didn`t you read, it said My Chemical Romance is "death" rock, not emo, even ask My Chemical Romance, they are NOT emo music, the lead singer even said so.

My fave song is Helena, it`s very inspirational because Gerard (lead vocals) wrote it about his grandmother who past away which is very sweet. Very emotional beautiful song!

I haven`t heard enough of it to make an educated decicion, but for all those who just say that "it sucks" or "worst band ever" don`t give any reasons as to why. Is the music not up to par? Do you not like what the singers/instramentalists are doing? Let`s have an educated opinion about this please.

They are truely one of the most manufactured and over-produced out there today. I used to love them, until i seen them live. They have very little musical talent whatsoever and their live performance is appauling. The vocals are poor, rushed and most of the time the lead is out of breath. The guitar is just as bad, with the different riffs just bleding in together to make one blurred sound. The worst band i have ever seen live. Also, the frontman has no stage presence whatsoever and is unable to motivate a crowd over 9 years of age. Just Awful!

1) Theyre emo - they wouldnt say theyre emo, because emo is considered insulting, dont be a sheep and decide for yourself you sheep - because they are definitely emo
2) they suck and are one of the worst, most untalented bands on earth

it`s your decision who sucks and who doesnt, but i believe i can voice my opinion also. they`re amazing and of course, one of my favorite bands. i`m going to be touring with them next summer. they`re not emo. sunny day real estate and the getup kids are emo. mcr isn`t emo.
