Yeah, for the most part they suck. However, you have to admit that Time Of Your Life and Warning are reasonably good songs, and though the lyrics/tone of Holiday are basically meaningless it has a pretty catchy tune...
However, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and St. Jimmy are truly horrible songs... That I can agree with...

I disagree, I think that Greenday has made some very good music over the years. Time of Your Life is a true classic, while Brain Stew and Basket Case are great pure rock songs, and Minority is a great anthem.
Somw of their new music is good also, they have been able to stay fresh after all these years and IMO Jesus of Suberbia is a great origional song.

I actually disagree with that.
Do they have a good guitar player? NO!
Do they have a good bass player? He's okay, but no match for Entwistle or Geddy Lee.
Do they have a good drummer? He's alright, but nothing compared to Peart or Bonham.
How about their music? All of the parts flow seamlessly and none of them majorly outshines another making a pleasant, consonant sound (most of the time) 
But yeah, I can't stand Holiday or Blvd. of Broken Dreams anymore at all. Same with Wake Me Up When Sept. Ends.

what is up w/ greenday
like people are crazy ovr them or they hate them
im not a huge fan of their's but once in a while i'll pup ai in my cd player and press the play button
they do suck...but a couple of they're songs are all rite

mid 90's they were very good but...

I want to vomit when I hear any new greenday. I love their old stuff though. Dookie was a really good album IMO.
