Punk is whatever u think it is. Evry 1 is gonna hav there own definitions so no use argue ova it? who cares wat ppl listen to neways! it could mean mawhawks n safety pins or it could be new found glory. i used to be into b182 and all dat stuff but i neva classified it as "PUNK"? Da best 2 punk bands would have to be NOFX and the DESCENSENTS. The vocals and lyrics are great! They rock!!

Yeah, but I think that you can like that stuff and that`s cool, as long as you dont put a huge label on everything. Sometimes I think people who make a huge deal over what`s punk and what isnt are the poseurs themselves. You`re allowed to like whatever you like, and that`s cool, there`s no need to worry about what everybody else likes, and if whatever everybody else likes blows, whats it to you? you have good taste.

im a guitarist looking for like minded entities to cause damage with. im from the chicago area. i have pro quality gear and transportation. im willing to travel for a good cause. im into anything that moves my blood, such as: misfits,distillers,elvis,bad religion,johnny cash,f-minus,temptations,virus,circlejerks,hellacopters,robert johnson,bones,afi,etc.

I know alot of you obviously are in love with the sex pistols but the fact that the sex pistols were manufactured condradicts much of what you are saying. The pistols were a hard cool sounding non wussified band but they were put into motion on the express account to get money. You people are insulting the commercialism of pop bands like blink 182 apparently withour fully knowing what your talking about. The Sex pistols were commercial and they knew it they played society for money like marilyn manson.

Hey listen, Blink 182 is my favorite band.I see them as alternative rock. Not punk.But i think that people have different thoughts on what punk is.I mean to someone Good Charlotte is punk and to the rest of us it`s just a bunch of posers.So lets all be mature.and just listen to the music we like. who f***** cares what genre it is.

kara its something how ur telling people to let others define their own music, but then u call GChar lovers posers in the next sentence. i dont happen to love any bands rite now, but i will say, that i saw blink in concert last summer and they were awful. maybe we should just define bands as Good or Bad. that should clear things up.

For your information i do not like good Charlotte. i have no posters of them on my wall.Punk rock is what people like. I like blink 182 because they have good music. i`m sorry to say this but they arent very good in concert because they are always or tom is at least always drunk. What kinda music do you listen to? tell me if it`s any better.LOL.

yea, i didnt mean that u thought good charlotte was good or bad. all i wanted to comment on, was how u said we should let people judge what they listen to for themselves... and then u dissed GC. i guess, i just noticed u were sorta doing the opposite of what u just said.
i like a ton of groups. seen alot in concert. blink was really bad, but i would still buy or burn their songs. greenday is cool. wanted to see u2 but no way to get tickets.
