How the !****! are the Stones grungy? HOW THE FUCK IS PEARL JAM GRUNGY? Because they were labeled that by MTV & you listened? If the Stones came from Seattle in the 90s, but their music was the same.. You'd be calling them a grunge band too, you dumbass sheep -

& why should Pink Floyd be a band people can obsess over? Pink Floyd werent that great - DSOTM & The Wall were great, & after that they ranged from good to mediocre - Everything Pearl Jam has done has been brilliant, & all around they're definitely better than Pink Floyd... Better musicians AND better songwriters.

Its no wonder Pearl Jam was voted the best American band of all time last year by USA Today.

Well everyone knows that soundgarden is the deffinitive grunge band. Pearl Jam are very good but there are better bands. By saying that PJ are best, your only gonna get loads of ppl angry at you. Just sit back and enjoy your favourite band man, and stop forcing your oppinions down everyones throats. (and yes, I do know I just did that when I said Soundgarden are the best grunge band lol)

of the big 4 Soundgarden are by far the least popular... That may be because they broke up, it might be because Layne & Kurt died (I like soundgarden way more than nirvana) but nevertheless man, few people consider soundgarden the definitive band of that time.

Hey idiot... You're using 'Alive' as an example when it was the FIRST single off their FIRST album... They have EIGHT !***** albums, you're talking 15 !****!in years ago.. Get with the times !****!. Pearl Jam is much better than Pink Floyd.

I seriously doubt a Tool fan like yourself has over 500 albums like I do. You're on the same message board, so it's a dumbshit thing to tell someone to get a life for posting on here. If you knew much about music, Tool definitely wouldn't be your favorite band.

There new album being sold as "The best they've made in 10 years" is accurate. But I could crap in my hands and hold something better than the alubms they've released in that time. So it isn't saying much.
