Before I really start getting into doing a lot of posting, I want to say this....I promote bands, so I'm going to post new bands up here. Some will be nationally known bands, some will be Texas local bands. I understand not everyone is going to like that bands I post and that's fine. I'm doing it for the sake of trying to get new bands out there that people may not know about. I personally have a passion for music and do not think it's cool to bash anyone's taste. If you don't like one of my bands, that's fine but please respect them for the effort they are putting into what they love. It takes a lot of guts to get on a stage and really put yourself out there and make the sacrifices that come with trying to make it in the music world. Thanks!

Actually I did but without speaking to the people who run the boards...so the threads got erased. I have been talking to a mod to find out how I can post things for the bands without it being considered spam. Also I'm not sure why it shouldn't be allowed if there is actually a discussion of strengths, weaknesses, styles, etc. of the bands. I don't start the threads just to advertise...I like hearing what people actually think.

Nevermind, mix up...wrong forum...and yes I have. I've made posts about 3 bands actually...Flyleaf, As Fast As, and Dropping Daylight. I've been busy starting up my promotions stuff and organizing a benefit show in Dallas for the American Cancer Society...or at least getting the proposal together. Thanks though :-p
