Whats everyone's favorite female artists?
I really like Alanis Morissette.
Janis Joplin was also really good and "Heart" was amazing too, IMO.

I am totally into the European gothic metal bands that are fronted by female singers. Bands such as Within Temptation, Lunatica, etc. etc. Beseech is another good one, although they have both a female and male vocalists.
On the American side, I do like both Heart and Alanis too. I was into Pat Benetar and the Runaways long ago also.
BTW, I grew up around Wichita... many moons ago...
