I know they arent "dark and scary" They are little pussys who think their lives are so terrible. All the emo's I have EVER seen are driving nice cars, wearing expensive (and !*****!) clothes, and look well fed and healthy. I have 2, yes, 2 PAIRS of jeans and I'm a highschool girl. My mom is an ex-drunk and a chain smoker whom I never see, my dad and my sister both smoke like hell. I have no grandparents. Most of my life is basically spent in the house cooking and cleaning for my ungrateful bastard of a brother. Yet, I go to school everyday, get all A's and B's, I'm in band, I paricipate in school activities and am a generally happy person even though I sometimes eat crackers and peanut butter for dinner. I also find time to go out an ride my horse 4 times a week.
Most, and I say MOST, emos have absolutaly no room to complain about jack !***!. I cant wait till the skinny jean and studded belt era is over. I'm throwing a party and everytone who is awesome is invited.

They are fresh out of High School and already one of the most popular bands.

And let me get this straight, THEY ARE NOT EMO!!!
Dashboard, TBS, AFI, they are all emo.

Panic! falls more along the lines of powerpop/punk.

So all you haters need to go else where and stop whinning.
It's "overplayed" because it's obviously good music.

And as for all you classic rock lovers, you can't compare the modern music to classic rock.
It's like comparing apples and oranges.

School is where many successful musicians get their start. I dont go waste my time doing drugs or !***! like that. I have a responsibility to help my band of 205 students sound and look good.
