if they do infact dress/play music like that under their own free will they are basicly the coincidental backstreet boys of this generation, along with my chemicle romance and billy tallent.

personally, i'm not one to just go around dissing other peoples interests in music, but panic at the disco isn't music. they are a modern pop/rock band that sounds exactly like fall out boy. both are greatly overplayed, and they should not exist.

I'm sorry to say this... But They SUCK!!! Oh my god. You dont know how many times I'll hear at dances, oddly mainly Band dances, were they have played Panic at the Disco 3-5 times in a row. I mean of all the new rock bands I have heard they sound pretty much like Fall Out Boy or My Chemical Romance. So please when you feel an urge to listen To Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, or one of the million imitation emo rock/punk/pop please just leave the social function or just be quite.

Woah. Holy !***!, guys. 1st of all, Panic! At The Disco isn't 'emo', okay? Not saying emo is bad, it's just, they are so not! I mean, how can you even put a label on those guys? Labels are for cans. And 2nd of all, if you don't have anything good to say, then just don't say it. It's plain & simple. Just go do something that won't get you all mad.. Writing dumb things just wastes your time. Why do it? And if the only song you've ever heard is I Write Sins Not Tradgedies, then you have no right to insult a great band. I mean, what have they ever done to you? If you don't want to listen to them, turn off your god damn radio, or change the station or listen to the music YOU love! No one's forcing you to listen to p!atd. All they ever wanted to do was make some good music. And to me, that's what they've done and they continue to do it. So go bitch to someone else about bands you hate.

well firstly fall out boy sound nothing like MCR( and never will) and panic sound nothing like fob. we are talking 3 different styles here. and to the girl on page 1 of this thread who said ' technically fob sounds just like panic' sorry but Fob started in 2001/2002 and panic ( who were signed by pete wentz of fob) began in 2004/2005 so.... ( sorry but that was just bugging me...)

ok...everyone who's dissing someone's music interest or saying something bad or bitching about music...you're all pathetic. i mean, you shouldn't feel great jsut by puting someone's interest down. how would YOU like it if people didn't like the things you like and started dissing you? if you have something mean to say, DON'T SAY IT. And FoxyPianoGirl, i'm mad at you the most. don't ask why. i just am.

<Added>

oh, also...they're NOT emo. duh. they don't even classify themselves as emo. theie music's not emo. they're not emo.

for the person who said:
the thing wrong with your statement foxypianogirl is that panic! at the disco was around BEFORE fall out boy. so technically,

fall out boy sounds just like panic!.

actually, it was fall out boy's bassist pete wentz that got panic! signed in the first place. so just a guess that fob was there first

yes, you're right. FOB was before Panic! i don't think they sound the same, but they do sound alike. but, i think their music's different from each other.

personally i think all there music sounds the same and that really ruins everything about them and punk rock music in general. it has been totally overdone and they're all copycats of eachother.
not cool.
