i love zakk wylde of black label society! he has an amazing voice, he is a fantastic guitarist, and he plays the piano (as do i). i finally worked up the courage to sing in my school's talent show. i accompanied myself on the piano as well. the song i did was "in this river". zakk wylde inspired me to broaden my horizons, to not be afraid to be true to who i am. zakk wylde is truly my hero.

Steve Harris, best metal bass player ever, this guy is pure heart and has an amazing talent for songwriting, he taught himself how to play bass and he found a unique sound matched by no one. He is Iron Maiden.

Chris Cornell. Probably the best rock vocalist of the last 20 years. Wrote some amazing material in the late 80s and all through the 90s with Soundgarden and in solo projects. Overshadowed by other bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, etc. But still an important part of rock history. Still Writting amazing stuff with Audioslave (another band that lots of people don't know about or like). Cornell is under appreciated, but you will hear a lot of bands in the future who will count him as an influence.

David Bowie. Though weird and at times essentric, amazing artist and musician. defenitely showed that there was much more to music than just music, attitude. rock on!

David Gilmour is an amazing guitarist. He wrote my single favorite solo, Comfortably Numb. His solos are very technical and flow perfectly. He helped to create one hell of a band.
