Try Boston or Queen.

Though iTunes makes it so easy to download songs, you can't get AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, or other aweome bands...

<Added>

Also try Pink Floyd ("The Wall" is a great album)...

i want your ipod! lol on a more serious note I agree, Queen is awesome (loooooove Queen), I'd reccomend them too. Guns N Roses guitar rocks, so does AC/DC. Maybe Foo Fighters, more 'modern' if you like. Also (randomly) the Lemonheads (?) and this band the Have (? I think they're a New Zealand band). They're all quite different I know but they have some cool songs.

Get some Clapton on there. That includes Cream, Blind Faith, and Derek and the Dominoes. I would also recommend that you put some Floyd and Queen on there. Maybe get some Jeff Beck or the Yardbirds. Afterall the Yardbirds did once have Jimmy Page so you would probably like them. You need some Doors. I could go on but you have enough stuff to collect now. Come back for more later.

I'm gonna throw a lot of names out. But you and me probably have similar stuff lol.

You have alice in chains. But Get 'Mad Season', its more layne stayley. Also get Jerry Cantrells solo work. 'Boggy Depot' and the 'Degredation Trip' albums.

Temple of the Dog - Another great grunge supergroup.

I've heard a few new bands that aren't bad.
Winter Ville
Black Stone Cherry
Alterbridge
They are worth a listen and have some decent songs

Get lots of Deep Purple. My favourite albums are 'Machine head' and 'Burn'. 'in rock' is'nt bad either.

Stone Temple Pilots - 'Core' and 'Purple' are good albums.

Rage Against The Machine - 'Battle of LA' and their self titled album are the best.

Lynyrd Skynyrd - 'Second Helping' and 'Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd' are their best albums.

Metallica - 'Master of Puppets' and 'Ride the lightning' are my favourite. But you should get the black album too cos it was very sucessful.

Jimmy Hendrix is always good. Get whatever you can of him. 'voodoo child', 'crosstown traffic', 'all along the watchtower' and 'fire' are great tracks.

Pearl Jam are a great band. 'Ten', 'Vs' and 'Vitalogy' are all good albums. The others might need to grow on you but they are all alright.

Jeff Buckley - 'Grace' is a grat album. Can be a bit hit-and-miss at times. But 'Grace', Eternal life' and 'Last Goodbye' are my favourite tracks.

FREE are a good band, youmight know them from thier hit single 'Alright Now'. But they have lots of other awesome songs. Look for 'Fire and Water', 'Walk in my shadow', 'Mr big' and 'wishing well'. They also do a great cover of the blues classic 'The hunter'.

I don't know if anyone recomended led zeppelin. I think you'r already a big fan. But Led zep 1,2,3,4, 'physical graffiti' and 'houses of the holy' are essential.

Get Black Sabbath. 'Paranoid' and 'Black sabbath' are great albums. THey're all good really. Just as long as you avoid the stuff after ozzy was fired. The Dio years are ok but too much like hair metal for me.

Other albums worth a listen;

Monster Magnet - Powertrip
Megadeth - Peace sells
Pantera - Vulgar display or power
Mudhoney - Every good boy deserves fudge
Danzig - Danzig

hey going in the other direction I know some really really REALLY old stuff. Like really old rock n roll. Little Richard stuff is cool, which is like 1950s. WAY before our time lol but it's really energetic, very rock n roll. Probably a bit different from what you've got on your list but worth a listen anyways.
I can't help with new stuff at the moment sorry, maybe I'll keep an eye on this forum coz I think I need to find some new music too! lol

on second thought little richard stuff is quite repetitive. oh well still, some cool songs, if old. that's all.

The reminds me, you need Chuck Berry. After all, he is Chuck Berry. Maybe get some Stevie Ray Vaughn if you like Hendrix, Vaughn does some nice covers. You might like some of the Dead or the Allman Brothers, maybe you won't.

<Added>

Also you would probably like Wolfmother, a lot. I'm not a big fan but from your taste, you would probably like them a lot.

Gary Moore is another artist you might like. He's done lots of metal/rock throug the 70s and 80s with Thin Lizzy and other people. His more recent blues stuff is really good too. He's and awesome guitarist and can sing very well. 'Murder in the sky' is one of my favourite songs hes done. You might know him from the Thin Lizzy song 'parisian walkways'. He wrote it with Phill lynott.
