i was on a thread with ppl saying acdc sucks! they are one of the top 10 greatest bands of all time, selling millions and millions of albums, how can they suck?, if u can say why, then please say, and any other band ppl think sucks, and then tell why thnx
I wouldn't go so far to say that AC?DC sucks, but I wouldn't ever put them on a top 10. If you own two CD's of theirs there is no point in buying more. All you need is one from Bon Scott's era and one from Brian Johnson's era. AC/DC has not changed their sound at all, everything they put out sound justs like their other songs. They need to progress as a band before they get onto any top 10 list. Angus is talented but I have seen my guitar teacher do better improv. solo's than him. I would say that Angus is slightly above average as a guitarist who has played for as long as he has. That is why I would say AC/DC is average for the time period they came from.

i can say stuff sucks in my opinion, but still respect them. i hate country music to the death. i think almost all country music sucks, but i can respect them professionally. take some famous country star, toby keith or whatever. i respect the guy, i just think he sucks as a musician. same goes for any rock act. i can say ac/dc sucks and still respect them, saying they suck doesn't automatically nullify any respect for someone. if you say to me, you suck at basketball man, that doesn't mean you don't respect me. same goes for these rock artists. i can say they suck, and still respect them professionally...
it would be rather cynical of people to have a word such as 'suck' being used in terms other than that of sexual relations.
that being said i am in the honor of replying to a very insightful post such as this.
before submitting to angrily admitting that you take displeasure in such musical activity, be aware that these young and old, men and women have opted to nestle the rest of their futures in a game of russian roulette.
to take the liberty of attempting to reach the fulfillment of putting their destiny in the angry, snobbish and robust hands of such a filthy minded world, where we are never pleased with the fruits that we attain.please don't be offended by my opinion, because just like you dared to indulge in such a debatable and somewhat offensive question, i will reply with a question to you...do these bands 'suck' or is it just your taste?
