I`m sorry wild, but hair metal bands do not have that much of talent. They have meaningless lyrics and the same guitar. Maybe if smoked a bowl and listened to hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin, you would understand what real music is.

ok first of all i would like to point out the pop punk sux it`s noting but boy bands with gutiars next of all leppelin tops the list big time they cahnged music and made rock what it is. next of all every band today is in it for the cash there are only few bands the just ply for the love. if you do believe me look at the last four albums you have bought and think about how many of the song are good. (my guess it averages 1-3 good songs per album if that) if you what me to lay of a bad that is great for rock and roll i have to throw out the name the white stripes the are consistant with good albums and the bring out a new sound

when bon scott died they could hav gav up and had no more acdc but no they didnt and thats what made them a gr8 band that kicked ass and still does.

anyone who doesnt agree that led zeppelin is the greatest band of all time is either being ignorant or just hasnt listened to them enough, easily the most talented band ever, jimmy page (arguably the greatest guitarist of all time) robert plant (fantastic voice) Bonham (one of the greatest)
there are tons of great rock bands but theres only one zeppelin and its a no brainer, they are the greatest

OK, i agree with most of these lists, i agree that led zepp, pink floyd, the beatles ecc. were legends, had the most influence on how the music is today,
but people keep putting those less important bands, also great (with exeptions), but can`t actually call them legends, and not a single person mentioned THE EAGLES??!
why why why? I`m not saying they should be put in the top ten bands ever, but i just don`t get why am i the 1. person to mention them?

I think the greatest rock bands ever are, the beatles, the who, the rolling stones, bob dylan, the eagles, the doors, the clash, gnr, lez zepplin, aerosmith, the smiths, pink floyd, ac/dc, jimi hendrix, the jam, the animals, the kinks, chuck berry! <-- amazing stuff, u2 and the verve!
