why is everybody not mentioning rush they are without a doubt rock legends 30 years and still going with great music

-Kiss is terrible. They are not good musicians at all, and they`re music is so simple.
Guns n` Roses isn`t as terrible as Kiss, but it`s a close one. Axl is a hick, racist, homophobe, douchebag. And Slash is extremely overrated. He`s average at best. Granted they have put together some O.K music, But they`re not nearly as good as Led Zeppelin.
-There is no band of any era that can stand up to Led Zeppelin. Second only to Hendrix, Jimmy page defined what it was to be a guitar player. And try finding a drummer that can match John Bonham`s amazing talent.
-So if there is anyone reading this who thinks Slash or Ace Frehley is the best guitar player, sit yourself down with Any good Hendrix album, and any Led Zeppelin album prior to `Presence,` and see what a real guitar player sounds like. And if you think they`re the best just because they can play fast, you`re actually quite ignorant. There is so much more to playing guitar than having quick fingers or shooting fireworks out of your Les paul`s headstock as Ace does.
Also im only 17 and yeah, i know good music.

gn`r are not terrible. i wouldn`t say their one of my fav bands but they still rock! who gives a shi t if he is a racist, homeophobe, whatever, i`m not saying i agree, or that he is, but it`s the music that matters. and the MUSIC ROCKS!!!

Kiss is terrible. plus just because a band is new doesnt mean they cant be considered on the list. Linkin Park has blended rock and rap better than any band. They have bridged the gap that many bands have tried and failed. Rage against the machine is another band that has influenced people politically with their barage on everything that is known as soiety. and most of you are forgetting the band that started all that we know as rock, Black Sabbath my list is
