Don't worry about the grades.They aren't so much important.I,in my second year of piano,taught myself the entire Rondo ala Turca.And it was fun,because I didn't care about the grades.
But to answer your question I think Arabesque is grade 7 or 8.
Im'glad that you manage to play Arabesque on your first year.Bravo!!!

I find that when I don't know something about a peice, I can look ahead and fake it with what I think sounds best. SOmetimes it's better than the origional.
