How do you feel about classical music standards being played on "non-classical" instruments?

Example:

Mozart Horn Concerto played on the Kazoo :0
Giuliani's Guitar Concerto played on the banjo :0
Beethoven's Romance in D played on the bagpipe

of course, these are exaggerations, extremes really, but you get my pont.

So, how do you feel about classical music being played on non-classical instruments?

I heard Bach on banjo, not long ago. It was Bela Flek.

You will have to check it out for yourself to find out.
A good starting point is http://www.belafleck.com/

Some of it can be nice. I've head Bach played on the alto saxophone, and it was lovely.

Mozart on a kazoo, on the other hand, I don't know if I could handle.

I heard a really great arrangement of a Grieg string quartet for saxophone quartet.
It sounded heaps like actually strings.

Though it may sound odd, classical music can be played ona variety of instuments. I enjoy playing classical music on my saxophone a lot, but sometimes it's hard to play with some of the notes (a piano's range is lot greater than that of a saxophone)...

I've heard Bach 3rd Brandenburg Concerto 1st Movement played on four acoustic guitars. It was really cool.

I have "In the Hall of the Mountain King" on my iPod played on an electric guitar...
