I played a piece of music in High School with this melody, but for the life of me I can't remember what it's called. Maybe one of you would know...

It's not really straight eighth notes, and there's a little bit more of the melody, I didn't have enough room. It's sort of like 6/8 time, quarter eighth quarter eighth...

Does anyone remember this piece?!?!?! The rhythm is more like in 6/8 quarter eighth quarter eighth. I also realized that I left out a note or two in the middle but you should still recognize the overall melody!
