I've been asked to get a grade 5 'more sight-reading' by my classical piano teacher. I need one as my I know the old tunes from memory practically!!!.........but I resent having to pay £6.00 for a thirty-page book that I'm likely to finish in an afternoon's sitting. Does any one know of any websites/places where such material is shared/bought/sold secondhand for people like me who don't want to make ABRSM of 'FABER' any richer? I know I sound like I'm penny-pinching, but I'm sure you'll agree we're all being ripped off by these big exam boards enough already and not everyone can afford it. Am I the only one who feels that classical music is very inaccessible to the working-class student?
