Bolero is like the best song ever. A bolero is a dance in triple (in case you didn`t know) and the bolero is celebrated and popularized in Maurice Ravell`s song. Any one ever here this lovely song?

have you ever heard of the music group The Planets? they`re an instrumental groub, and play classical-crossover music similar to bond. they have a cellist, a violinist, a flute player, 1 or 2 guitarists, a double bass/bass guitar player, a percussionist, and a cor anglais/oboe player.
anyways, they do a variation of bolero and it`s very cool! i like it.

I`ve heard Bolero a few times, and one reason why I really like it is because it uses saxophones. It`s a great song! (ahem, symphony. survey of music lit. is following me everywhere!)

oh yah, if you listen to lord of the dance, try to find the orchestra version... not the one with just violin and stuff

I love the colours of Bolero.
Esp. the two pianos version!

at the risk of starting an unnecessary debate, how can you like the colors of the 2 piano version better than the orchestral version. the piano is a wonderful instrument, but the genius of bolero lies in the fact that it is, in ravel`s own words, "orchestral tissue without music".
