Akai MPC2500 Music Production Center
Akai MPC2500 Music Production Center ReviewsAkai MPC2500 Music Production Center Sample ReviewFeature:Its everything MPC and some. I like the chop shop and phrase sampling. The different quantize options are amazing, with note shifting, etc. The 'swing' on this machine is superb. Quality: Pretty well built, compact and looks very professional. Its got a nice tilt screen, and i like the clicky wheel. The pads feel great for programming drums. Value: For the money, you get what you pay for. Its solid, tight and delivers. Desirability: looks very slick on my desk next to my laptop. It blends in well with my other gear. Its beautifully designed ground up. The MPC logo on the back screen is a nice touch. The mpc 2500 looks like the mpc 3000le, but slimmer and slicker. Sound: What you put in, is what you get out. With the right drum samples, this thing sounds fat on the bottom and sweet on the top. Its a fairly punchy sound, with a nice thump on kicks. The sound is pretty focused, not muddy or lo fi like the old samplers. Ease of Use: Once you started playing with it, you get the hang of the main feature pretty quickly. Its a small learning curve. Support: I dont like Akai support, but who needs them. Overall: Great machine, excellent feel for drums, perfect for any studio. Other Akai products |
