Behringer BX4500H Ultrabass Bass Amplifier Head (450 Watts)
Behringer BX4500H Ultrabass Bass Amplifier Head (450 Watts) ReviewsBehringer BX4500H Ultrabass Bass Amplifier Head (450 Watts) Sample ReviewFeature:For the money it does include nice effects, which is good when you don't feel like lugging a ton of pedals around. Quality: After 6 months of use this head developed a HORRIBLE buzz in the trebble. Additionally, other heads rated at less wattage can play louder and cleaner. Value: It's inexpensive, but you'll need to replace them much more frequently. It's probably a better idea to spend more money and get a better quality head. Desirability: It's pretty. If it sounded as good as it looks it would be a very nice amplifier. Sound: There WILL be a buzz in the trebble. It won't come out at first, but after a while of using it the buzz will make you need to dial down the trebble. If you're not a fan of bright sounding bass, I guess this wouldn't be a huge problem. Ease of Use: It's fairly intuitive. Overall: If you're looking for an inexpensive back-up head that won't see much use unless your primary head dies, this will do the trick. If you want something that will be a good investment as primary road gear, seriously look elsewhere. |
