Behringer PMH1000 12-Channel Powered Mixer with FX (400 Watts) Reviews

Behringer PMH1000 12-Channel Powered Mixer with FX (400 Watts) Sample Review

Feature:
Absolutely the best features, it's got it going on in this area, two thumbs-up!

Quality:
It seems very well made even with it's light weight body.

Value:
Great value for the by far compared to other units in it's class. I would give it a 10 rating had it not been for the lack of power.

Desirability:
Awesome looks, layout, design, size, weight and color. Very appealing and has a nice feal to it.

Sound:
I don't know what's going on with the sound output of this mixer, but when you connect a CD player (using a prerecorded music disc) to it just to test the output sound, you have to max out the volume and the CD/TAPE output levels to get it going half-way decent and I was in my 20'x15' den. Hey, even my wife was disapointed.

Support:
Have not had to deal with them. Later on I will inquire about the lack of power.

Overall:
Overall, this is a nice looking system, including their other models: PMH3000 and PMH5000. I sold my this unit and was looking at thier other models, but I did my homework. Looks like you might have to add your own power unit to these puppies and that's what I didn't want to do. So please, someone tell Behringer to do thier homework and put the "left-over parts" from last years model back in the POWER section of this years model. Or else, see if they can get those great designers to come over to the assembly department and work on increasing the power.
