Behringer T1952 Tube Composer
Behringer T1952 Tube Composer ReviewsBehringer T1952 Tube Composer Sample ReviewFeature:It's got all that a good compressor needs. Quality: 10 out of 10. I used it for a year with standard valves. Then re-valved it and used it that way for almost a year. I've since gone back to the original valves. Much better for guitars! Value: Knowing what I know, I'd pay much more for it than I did. My gues is that these units are gonna get more expensive. They are DAMN hard to find and I need a heap more of them. Desirability: EVERY ONE comments on how cool this unit looks. When I get new clients in, I switch this puppy on even if I'm not going to use it. It impresses the hell outa every one. Sound: I love the sound of this unit. I also love the fact that so many studio snobs won't even take the time to listen to it. Thier loss, my gain. It's fine on vocals, but it REALY shines on guitars. Especially distorted guitars. As far as compressors go, it is smooth and subtle. It took me a while to get used to as it appears to not be working when you first use it and turn the dials up. However switch it off and you'll see it's value! Ease of Use: Set and forget. I love this unit. Support: Never had to use it. Overall: 10 out of 10. No question. I'll say again, I love the fact that the audo snobs hate Behringer. I also happen to know that a hand full of the world's best producers use these because they sound to good - and different to all of the standard compressors used today. |
