Emu PM5 Powered Personal Monitor (40 Watts, 1x5 in.)
Emu PM5 Powered Personal Monitor (40 Watts, 1x5 in.) ReviewsEmu PM5 Powered Personal Monitor (40 Watts, 1x5 in.) Sample ReviewFeature:Small and compact and has pretty much every connection and bell and whistle. I'm running balanced, out of my MOTU and leave all my settings at defualt and run level at 12 o'clock(it's plenty loud). For something so small it has great bass and I hear from the magazines that a matching subwoofer is coming. Quality: It's built like a tank. Heavy and dense feeling. Very industrial looking and I like the blue light. Value: There are tons of cheaper ones nowdays like the Egosys I used to have but these are built way better, and have that dry sound that I wanted. It's definitely worth the money. Sound: The way i'd decribe it is Clear, Open and Dry. I heard these at a friends home studio so he sold me. Support: No problems so can't say. They had great support before when I called them about their old synth stuff. Overall: I've had and used tons of EMU gear and they always makes great stuff at good prices. Just wish they'd make all their new computer stuff for the Mac too. Come on EMU stop being so "Creative". Other Emu products |
