Fender Acoustasonic Jr DSP Acoustic Guitar Amplifier (2x40 Watts, 2x8 in.) ReviewsFender Acoustasonic Jr DSP Acoustic Guitar Amplifier (2x40 Watts, 2x8 in.) Sample ReviewFeature:I plugged a second instrument into the mic channel and though that might not be the intended use, it works very well and sounded great. Quality: This amp seems to be pretty rugged like the old Fender amps were made. Value: I did alot of research before purchasing this amp and although there were cheaper amps in this category, this seemed to be the best quality for the money. Sound: I have tried this amp with my Ovation 12-String, mandolin, and two different resonator guitars. I was able to quickly find the sound I wanted without alot of fussing around. This amp produces a very natural warm sound. The highs are clean, but not brash. Support: I want to purchase the optional 2-button FX footswitch, but can't seem to find one. It isn't even listed (as far as I can tell) on the Fender web site. I contacted Fender (e-mail), and they said someone would get back to me in two-weeks or so...not exactly responsive. So far, this is the only complaint I have. Overall: If someone stole this amp, I would have to get another. This is the best my accoustic intruments have ever sounded in a live environment. |
