Feature:
I wish it had windows xp drivers that actually worked

Quality:
Its a plastic 19 inch rack, stylish and is well constructed.

Value:
Well for a little extra cash... You could buy the M audio equivilent. I think my (now sold)M audio midisport 4x4 beats this pile of **** hands down. Rock solid windows drivers. Never had a problem. Wish I brought the midisport 8x8 in the first place.

Desirability:
Sleek design. Its black finish does make it look mean and pro quality.

Sound:
Well it does'nt make a sound but it should help you get a sound from the rest of your midi gear... but in my case it does'nt

Ease of Use:
Can't be that easy... it does'nt work. Well not for me anyway.

Support:
I've been in contact with Motu, but they just tell me the same thing over and over again. Its like they cant be bothered. I think there web page needs a good shake up. Updates are terrible and not very specific.

Overall:
I think I might be replacing this item soon. Very soon! It does'nt work on my windows xp. I've tried this on a desktop and my laptop and both fail to maintain motu's xp drivers. It even caused hell with my Mcafee internet security and has caused mayhem in my laptop registry. I need to re-format my harddrive because of it now. The laptop was working fine until I put this thing in!!! I need the 8x8 midi connections and as it stands, this has to go if it does'nt work.
