Quality:
they break all the time. capsule and electronics seperate from housing when you fight to get a cord out of the not so great fitting xlr jack. it's all held together by one tiny screw.
Value:
not worth buying
Sound:
harsh, lifeless, non-dimensional sound. if an sm81 was built for 5 dollars and dropped in water, you'd have this microphone.
Overall:
sm57's will sound better for overheads out live. no joke.
