Vox AD30VT Guitar Combo Amplifier (30 Watts, 1x10 in.)
Vox AD30VT Guitar Combo Amplifier (30 Watts, 1x10 in.) ReviewsVox AD30VT Guitar Combo Amplifier (30 Watts, 1x10 in.) Sample ReviewFeature:Everything is usefull. All the amp models have their place. I wish that you could better combine effects. Some multi effects are available, but not all I'd want. Quality: I see no blemishes. The only tjhing I'm not fond of is the chrome grate and plastic "VOX" insignia. Value: Yes. It really does sound like a tube amp, and worksd great in live playing. One of the overdrives in particular nails Santana's sound. I considered a Fender Pro Junior, but this sounds as good and is a more complete package by far. Desirability: It weighs 26 pounds, and it's LOUD. I am micing it into the PA, but getting all of the stage volume I could ever need. The bass player asks me to turn down. Sound: It has shimmer... the upper presence that my Crate completely lacks. You can adjust the power amp output from 1 to 30 watts, so it sounds great at low volumes. Full and thick. You can overdrive the tube even at 1 watt output if you want. I wanted very smooth overdrive, and tried out Boss's Blues Driver. Even that was too grainy for me. But the Vox has all kinds of overdrive, including crunch and super smooth. Better than pedals! BTW, any common make of footswtich works on the vox. Support: No problems w/ amp |
