Appassionata

Appassionata - Musical Definition

Appassionata - Passionately

Examples of use

Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 23 in F Minor Op. 57 is known as the Appasionata, because of its tempestuous qualities.

Though not specifically marked appasionata, the main theme from Tchaikovosky’s Overture Fantasy Romeo and Juliet is also a good example of this type of writing.
