A thoughtful, reflective piece for flute and piano, inspired in part by celtic melodies, particularly the compositions of the flautist Simeon Wood. Separate flute and piano parts are available for download from http://people.pwf.cam.ac.uk/prh33/music.html. Note that the Sibelius playback doesn't do justice to the ornaments in the flute part; I've tried to correct that in the midi file and mp3 file. This piece is dedicated to Harriet Johnston, a close friend and fellow flautist.

Really beautiful piece. It's made my day a lot brighter. And filled it with musical fun.

Do you mind if I have a go at playing it? I fancy watching people walk around quads while playing this?

Mr. Howie - Thank you for this piece! It's absolutely beautiful. I've been searching for the next piece I'll perform in church and I've found it. This is so moving and I know the congregation will appreciate it as much as I do.

@DidoRado: I'm sorry you don't like my music, but I can assure you that it is mine and it is original! I wrote it in early 2006.

Very bad music! Not modern and not own music!

impossible to describe; a haunting and yet loving melody, I loved the most the part when the piano first entered. truly beautiful, that song, no,masterpiece, was heard deep into my soul, deeper than I have ever felt with my own music before.
