I performed this as an improvisation. There is no written sheet music to the work. One could play the piece, by ear, on a 4 string violin, but the lower C of the 5 string is what lends it its quality. I tuned the violin down 1/2 step (baroque tuning) from standard tuning. I recorded this using Adobe Audition 1.0 using a little reverb for effect.
I will be posting some other solo works (from my archives) in the near future.

I like it! Would I be able to play this on a normal violin?

Here is a superb site (the only one I know of to date) that is very informative.
