I know I haven't done this beautiful piece of music much justice..I'm using it to practice expression. :-)

Thank you for your comment Nanda! I did realize as well that my lips were slightly apart too much...which helped to fix some of the airiness.
Cheers

Dear Enchaunted, my flute teachers always told me not to worry about an airy sound. In general, the extra noise you hear are overtones. Most of the airiness overtones are gone when you listen from more than 2 or 3 meters away.
If you try to make a perfect sound "for you", that is try to get rid of all the extra noise around your note, your sound will decrease in quality.
Only, if you sound like a wasp, then try to get rid of that part of your tone.
The other thing you may try is, to put the microphone a bit further away from you when you make a recording. And to always make the sound right for the room or hall in which you are playing.
Enjoy playing the flute!

I can't seems to get rid of that airy sound you hear when I play..Anyone has any tips? I've tried making my embouchure smaller but it doesn't seems to help.
Also, any tips for a smoother sound?
